Coming off his best season in the NBA this year, it's expected that Utah Jazz swingman Joe Ingles will generate a lot of interest from teams around the league. Despite his pedestrian averages of 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game, he provides his team hustle and the ability to defend some of the best shooting guards and small forwards of opposing teams. He has also proven that he is not afraid to take on big shots, even when the game is on the line.

That said, it's not hard to imagine him being pursued by teams looking to improve their rotation and bring in a solid player to their fold. However, the 29-year-old Australian international made it clear, via Olgun Uluc of Fox Sports AU, that his priority is to remain with the Jazz and continue his budding career in Salt Lake City.

“I think the priority is Utah. I loved it there.”

Ingles also cited how the Jazz looks after his wife and kids, which he truly values. It's also a big part of how he's going to decide on his future, as he feels his team is doing an amazing job of taking care of his family.

“As a family, we really liked the city.”

“What the team does for the families — which is obviously a little unknown to the outside world — looking after Renae, which they do with all of the wives and families and girlfriends, and all the significant others, is amazing.

“Obviously, I haven’t been with any other NBA teams, but the way they did that was probably second to none. It’s important for me, to know she’s looked after when we’re away for, say, 10 days.”

If there's any good news for the Jazz even if Ingles gets a lot attention from other teams is that they can match any offer extended to him as he is a restricted free agent. Should they be able to retain his services, they'll be able to help him blossom even more and prove to the team's fans that he is deserving of the roster spot given to him.
