Famous K-Pop Group ITZY is set to feature in annual Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) 515 Event in 2023 to be Global Ambassadors of the game. The annual MLBB 515 event is always anticipated as it is the celebration of the anniversary of MLBB since 2016. This year, it will feature a music festival entitled “ALLSTAR”, following last year’s M-World anime theme.
Moonton has hinted their special guest 5 days ago with the tagline “ALL IN US” as k-pop fans were already excited as this was ITZY’s intro when they introduce themselves to their fans. A lot of k-pop and MLBB fans already speculated that ITZY will be the special guest. Today, they officially reveal that ITZY will be their global ambassador and will star in the upcoming MLBB 515 Event in 2023.
Moonton also posted a teaser video for the MLBB 515 Event ALL STAR Music Festival, where they stated bigger reveals than ever with brand new, challenges and content, including their very special guest:
The teaser video showed silhouettes of five females with very distinct hairstyles. These clues really pointed out that ITZY will officially be the special guest for MLBB.
This is not the first game that ITZY promoted so they do know how to play Mobile MOBAs and how to promote them. This is very exciting news, especially with the cross-over of k-pop and Mobile Legends as there are a handful of k-pop fans that actually play the game.
The MLBB 515 event is an annual festival in the game where players could have a chance to win a lot of prizes and freebies as well as have massive discounts on their favorite hero’s cosmetics. They also release limited edition skins for fans to purchase and show off in the game.
Moonton has already collaborated with a lot of popular personalities from different regions, especially in Southeast Asia, where they would feature celebrities performing or promoting the game. This is the first time they would collaborate with a global personality, especially a well-known one, for their event.
It is still unclear what ITZY will do for the brand but the rumors are now officially true as ITZY will be featured in MLBB 515 Event 2023.
