Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) professional player Kenny “kennyS” Schrub may be considering a switch from CSGO to Valorant.

KENNYS TRYING OUT FOR A SPOT IN ALLIANCE'S VALORANT TEAM?

A now-deleted tweet by Alliance analyst Mitch “MitchMan” McBride showed a Valorant lobby with kennyS playing with Alliance team members. KennyS, a CSGO pro player, currently takes time off from active competition as he remains on the bench of his team G2 Esports.

Shortly after MitchMan took down his tweet, Arron “Halo” Spake tweeted that the CSGO pro may be having a trial run with Alliance. He refers to the deleted tweet as an “accidental leak.”

However, it seems like the CSGO pro hasn't fully-decided to switch games as of the moment. Halo reports that Schrub continues to consider his options in CSGO. Truly, the man himself confirmed that he has yet to decide where to commit his career at the moment. The pro player himself said that his priorities still lie with CSGO in a reply tweet.

“Yes it is,” kennyS writes, confirming that the leak is not true. “Valorant is a great game but I want to grind CS right now.”

Still, where there's smoke, there's fire. We know that Alliance is indeed looking for a new player right now. Recently, the team announced the departure of Vilius “krea6oN” Malinauskas, shortly after the team qualified for the VCT EU Masters.

Alliance stated in their announcement that they've decided to release krea6on for his lack of experience, something that kennyS has a lot of. Meanwhile, although kennyS has played for four years with G2 Esports, the organization decided to mix things up after recent failures of the team to deliver good results. As kennyS moved to the bench, Audric “JaCkz” Jug took his spot in the active roster. If kennyS is not moving to Valorant soon, he might as well be looking at his options with other CSGO teams.
