Atlanta Hawks shooting guard Kevin Huerter will return to the lineup for Wednesday night's home game against the Brooklyn Nets after missing three weeks due to a left rotator cuff injury, according to a report from Kevin Chouinard of FOX Sports Southeast.

The Hawks will be cautious with their approach to Huerter's return. He'll be on a minutes restriction — likely 15 to 20 minutes of action, according to Chouinard.

All in all, Huerter missed 11 games due to his injury. The fact that he's healthy enough to take the floor again is great news for the Hawks, who are currently holding a 5-16 overall record. Simply put, the team could use his shooting.

Huerter, who's now in his second season of NBA service, has made 10 appearances with the Hawks in this campaign (three starts), racking up averages of 9.3 points on 42.7 percent shooting from the field (38.6 percent from beyond the arc), 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 22.5 minutes per outing.

The Hawks snapped a 10-game losing streak with Monday night's 104-79 victory over the injury-laden Golden State Warriors. Without a doubt, Atlanta will be looking to stay on the winning path.

Wednesday night's matchup between the Hawks and Nets is scheduled to tip inside State Farm Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET. It will be the first of four meeting between the two teams this season.
