Khabib Nurmagomedov has become an MMA promoter since he retired from competing in the UFC. He's now the promoter for Eagle FC and he's made it clear he's coming for Bellator and the UFC.

Eagle FC has been signing all of the big names free agents on the market. That includes names like Kevin Lee, Rashad Evans, Diego Sanchez, and many more that have fought for the likes of UFC and Bellator.

Khabib Nurmagomedov made it clear when he bought the promotion that he had no interest in being a feeder league for the UFC. He recently sent out a stern warning to the rival promotions and let them know they better treat their fighters well.

“I think for big organizations like UFC, Bellator, they have to be careful with the fighters because Eagle FC is here,” Khabib said in a recent press conference. “Of course, we trying to sign good athletes, great athletes with good names. Same time, we working with a young generation, too. And I just wanna say be careful.

“If they don’t treat (fighters good), Eagle FC is here.”

Kevin Lee was a really good example of how serious Eagle FC is about signing talent and becoming a major rival to the big promotions. Lee was not treated well by the UFC when he was abruptly let go in an email.

Eagle FC 44 is the MMA promotion's first show under Khabib Nurmagomedov. It's set to go down Friday, on a rare weekend that doesn't have any UFC event.
