The Sacramento Kings will be without the services of Marvin Bagley III for Tuesday night's road game against the Phoenix Suns due to back spasms, according to a report from ESPN's Marc J. Spears.

Bagley, who did not participate in Monday's practice session, injured his back in Thursday's game against the —. He was listed as a game-time decision over the weekend, but the Kings elected to hold him out for precautionary measures. Though his MRI scans did not indicate any serious damage, the team will list him as day-to-day going forward.

In his 21 appearances with the team this season, Bagley has racked up averages of 13.0 points on 51.0 percent shooting from the field (30.4 percent from beyond the arc), 6.8 rebounds, just under one assist (0.9) and and 1.2 blocks in 24.1 minutes per outing.

With Bagley ruled out, head coach Dave Joerger will likely give Nemanja Bjelica and Harry Giles a few more minutes in the front-court rotation.

The Kings, who got back to .500 with Saturday's win, are having no trouble scoring. Their issue seems to be points allowed. Sacramento is among the highest-scoring teams in the league at 114.3 points a game. However, only the Atlanta Hawks are giving up more than the 117.1 points a game that the Kings are allowing. Needless to say, that's an issue that the team will need to address going forward.

Tuesday night's Kings-Suns matchup is scheduled to tip inside Talking Stick Resort Arena at 9:00 p.m. EST.
