Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph's brother Roger was shot and killed outside of a bar in Marion, Indiana early Saturday morning.

As tweeted by Joe Fenton of WTHR.com:

Marion PD on scene of homicide outside bar. Officers tell us Roger Randolph, brother of NBA star Zach Randolph, was shot around 5am this morning.

There was a shootout outside Hop's Blues Room and a bullet struck Roger and he was pronounced dead on the scene. According to WTHR.com, police aren't sure exactly what led to the shooting, but they don't believe it was random.

Roger spent three years in jail after a 2005 nightclub shooting at the Sinbad’s Lounge and Grill in Anderson, Indiana. Zach was there during the time of the shooting in 13 years ago, and was questioned, but was never charged. This time around, the Kings player isn't with his brother.

This is a devastating news for the veteran power forward. As such, persons close to the family are demanding justice as everyone awaits a suspect to be named.

Our prayers go out to Zach Randolph and family.
