Let the rivalry between the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets continue!

The slower nature of the offseason in the NBA doesn't mean the Knicks and Nets can't exchange some verbal jabs at one another.

One of the newest Knicks, Evan Fournier, did just that on Monday when he asked Twitter for some help finding a barber in New York City. When one Twitter user suggested, “Fella named Kevin. Lives in Brooklyn,” Fournier went troll mode by taking a shot at Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant.

Neither KD or Fournier are known for rocking the best of salads, but this is quite the hilarious response from Fournier. It also leads to questions: Did Durant really cut Fournier's hair in Tokyo? It seems the tweeter was joking and just throwing that out there, but who really knows?

The Knicks and Nets are set to have some great exchanges on the court in 2022. Brooklyn will be a title favorite, or at worst second in line with a big three of Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden all returning to the mix. If they can stay healthy, the Nets have as good a shot as any to win the title.

Meanwhile, the Knicks are coming off a 41-31 campaign in which they landed the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. While they aren't on the Nets' level, they did add Fournier and Kemba Walker in the offseason to bring some more zest to the offensive side of the ball.

Now we can all sit back and see if KD has a response to Fournier once he sees what was said.
