While Russell Westbrook, Trae Young, and most recently Kyrie Irving were the victims of fan hate, they're not the only ones. New York Knicks rookie Immanuel Quickley revealed on Monday that a fan at Madison Square Garden threw a beer at him last week, per Stefan Bondy:

Now, this is just getting ridiculous. MSG was absolutely bumping with Knicks fans but to throw a beer at your own player? It just seems wrong. Young was already spat on by a supporter courtside in Game 2 and he was ultimately banned for life.

Then in Philly, Westbrook was ready to throw down after a fan tossed popcorn on his head. Sure, we haven't had fans in arenas for over a year but this behavior is honestly just outrageous.

There isn't a lot of details about this Quickley incident, but it's still another low blow from the Knicks fans. After all, they're supposed to be there to either cheer on their team or boo the opponent. It shouldn't be going any further than that.

The Knicks will return to MSG for a pivotal Game 5 on Wednesday with their season on the line. The Hawks currently lead the series 3-1 after a huge win on Sunday.
