In case you missed it, the New York Knicks are already rumored to have placed Kemba Walker on the trade block. This follows head coach Tom Thibodeau's shocking decision to kick the four-time All-Star out of his rotation completely.

Walker's market value is reportedly at an all-time low right now, but as it appears, the Knicks could be looking at a former first overall pick in a potential swap. According to Bleacher Report's A. Sherrod Blakely, New York could now have their sights set on John Wall of the Houston Rockets:

A source close to the Knicks indicated New York may also have a potential trade partner in the Houston Rockets, who are eager to move John Wall.

For what it's worth, Wall recently had a change of heart with the Rockets. After trying to force his way out of Houston, Wall recently told the team that he wants to play again. The Rockets appear to be amenable to his request and have reportedly been working with the former All-Star to ramp up his conditioning.

Be that as it may, the Rockets are likely still willing to listen to any and all offers for Wall, especially if it's a player of Kemba Walker's caliber.

Wall and Walker used to be two of the top point guards in the NBA. A potential swap between these two players would have been nothing short of a headline-grabbing blockbuster deal a couple of years ago, but at this point, it's about two struggling ex-superstars looking for a fresh start — wherever that might end up being.
