The New York Knicks are 0-3 since acquiring point guard dennis smith jr. and center DeAndre Jordan from the Dallas Mavericks in the Kristaps Porzingis trade, but the team has been much more fun to watch since the two players came over from Dallas.
Madison Square Garden is built for star players to put on shows. While Dennis Smith Jr. and DeAndre Jordan aren’t stars, they do know how to provide first-class entertainment for the Knicks fans.
Saturday night against the Toronto Raptors, Smith Jr. threw an off-the-backboard alley-oop to Jordan, who finished off the play with a powerful dunk in transition.

This is what the MSG atmosphere has been missing for so many years. The Knicks are one of the worst teams in the NBA this season and will end up in the lottery again, which is actually a good thing since Duke has three players in Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett and Cam Reddish who have All-Star talent written all over them.
Since New York is going to be putrid for the rest of the season, the fans in The Big Apple deserve to get some highlight plays, and this gem from Smith Jr. and Jordan fits that bill.
