During this offseason, Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving has been involved with the production of the upcoming film portraying his Uncle Drew character.

There was a first look at the cast for the movie provided on Tuesday morning with several familiar faces with professional basketball backgrounds in the group.

The notable faces in the photo aside from Irving include Hall of Famers Shaquille O'Neal and Lisa Leslie along with former Sacramento Kings great Chris Webber and veteran guard Nate Robinson. Thet two returning members from the commercials are Irving and Robinson. This will also include Hall of Famer Reggie Miller along with actor Lil Rel Howery and comedian Nick Kroll.

The popular Pepsi commercials had originally begun back in 2012 that featured Irving in makeup and costume dressed as an old man named Uncle Drew, who joined pickup games at the park where he surprised the other players with his athleticism and skills on the court. This ultimately led to a few other commercials made that featured the likes of Robinson, Kevin Love, Baron Davis, and Maya Moore as part of the Uncle Drew series.

The Uncle Drew movie, which will be a full-length production is set to be released on June 29, 2018.
