The Los Angeles Lakers' superstar forward LeBron James is certainly not one to act shy on social media about issues related to everything from social justice topics to his own life. On Friday, the Lakers' James decided to take aim at a bizarre situation involving a car dealership and what he called out as an egregious lie on social media.

James' crusade came during Carmelo Anthony comments on the Lakers' JJ Redick-focused coaching search. James also released a message in support of an embattled future first-round pick in this month's NBA Draft.

LeBron James' comments left readers and Lakers fans alike shaking their heads. They show that LeBron isn't afraid to call out those who allegedly do him wrong.

“Stop the (cap emoji)!! LIARS!!” James wrote in his Instagram caption. “I don't know y'all, and I don't have that car. CLOUT CHASERS”

James' real car collection, revealed

An article this summer gave LeBron James' real car collection the spotlight treatment this past summer. James has a $4.5 million car collection, which is a paltry sum considering he's made at least $1 billion and counting over the course of his NBA career.

The Lakers superstar James' collection includes a Chevy Camaro SS, Dodge Challenger SRT8 392, Hummer H2, Kia K900, and Mercedes-Maybach S650. He also has a Ferrari 458 Italia Spider.

James is rumored to be aiding in the selection of the Lakers' head coach this coming season. The Lakers were eyeing Dan Hurley and made a move to get him in the fold, but he ended up returning to the Connecticut Huskies. Dan Hurley would have been the perfect fit, but the Lakers have to continue their search without him on the docket.

The latest intel has the Lakers looking at JJ Redick for the position again, based on James and Redick's history on a podcast discussing basketball strategy together in recent months.
