NBA 2K18 earlier in the day revealed Atlanta Hawks rookie big man John Collins' rating in the game, which also displayed an in-game photo of him dunking on Los Angeles Lakers' second-year forward Brandon Ingram.

It didn't take long for Ingram to issue a response via Twitter stating that he doesn't believe that would ever happen to him. A few hours following that, rookie point guard Lonzo Ball has also chimed in on the situation in support of his teammate.

It wasn't an encouraging image of Ingram being posterized on a one-hand dunk by the Hawks' rookie big man. There wasn't any rhyme or reason for the 19-year-old to be included in the photo from the new game. On top of that, all of this has come without Collins giving his own personal take on the situation.

This could become quite interesting depending on the response that NBA 2K18 gives to both Ball and Ingram over the next few days. In fact, if the company decides to make an alteration to the photo it could set a new standard to how things are handled moving forward with other players.

There is certainly a lot that could come of this just from a simple tweet about a player's overall rating from a video game.
