There's only one LeBron James, and the Los Angeles Lakers are definitely happy they have one of the greatest players to ever lace them up in Purple and Gold. Alex Caruso definitely appreciates his presence, though he did poke a bit of fun to his veteran teammate.

Alex Caruso, who is affectionately known as the Bald Mamba, was one of LeBron's Laker teammates who greeted the King on his birthday. However, he added a bit of comic value to his sincere greeting to LBJ.

ClutchPoints shared a screencap of Caruso's story to LeBron James, and any LBJ fan will be chuckling a bit at his cheeky greeting.

ā€œHappy 60th birthday to the real GOAT!!ā€ Caruso's message read. Beneath his humorous message was a nice snap of him and LeBron James giving each other a high-five.

It's definitely funny how Caruso exaggerated LeBron's age, but there's praise hidden in the obvious diss. LeBron James is now 35 years old, but he is still averaging a near triple-double every game. He's shown that he's still one of the best players in the world with incredible averages of 25.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 10.8 assists with a 49% field goal percentage.

Moreover, he sees himself beating fellow Laker Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time scoring record. Per Silver Screen & Roll:

ā€œI would be lying if I said I donā€™t see it,ā€Ā JamesĀ said. ā€œObviously Iā€™m not trying to say, ā€˜OK, well if I play this amount of time, if I average thisā€™ ā€¦ Iā€™m not doing that because Iā€™ve never done that with my career. Iā€™ve always just kind of let it happen. Whatever happens, happens. But I see it. I do see it.ā€

Given how well he's been playing at his age, LeBron James can definitely make that record. Caruso will be there, seeing him progress in the basketball annals along the way.
