Andre Drummond's Los Angeles Lakers debut was cut short after the 27-year-old had to exit the floor in the third quarter of the Lakers' Wednesday night game against the Milwaukee Bucks with an apparent toe injury. This is not an April Fool's joke and Drummond looks to actually be hurt.

If Drummond does end up missing time, the Lakers are now down three All-Stars as both LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both still out.

In his first game in a Laker uniform, Drummond was rather quiet with just four points, one rebound, two assists, and had four fouls in 14 minutes as LA's starting center. Rough debut for the reigning four-time rebound champ. Drummond's arrival in Los Angeles was huge as the Lakers try to add more length in their rather short-handed frontcourt. Adding a rebounding monster like Drummond was definitely a huge boost for the Lakers and their bid to defend their 2020 crown.

Unfortunately, it's back to the drawing board for head coach Frank Vogel and the rest of the coaching staff as they try to hurdle another injured star. Without Drummond and Marc Gasol not looking like himself, the Lakers are once again without a traditional big to help them in the paint. They're now going to heavily rely on the services of Kyle Kuzma (6'8″) and Montrezl Harrell (6'6″) to help them clean the board.

Laker Nation is hoping that Drummond's injury doesn't cost him a ton of time. The defending champs have been on a recent slump and are quickly falling the West's top four picture as other teams in the conference continue to surge.
