Los Angeles Lakers frontman LeBron James admitted he was seeing stars on the court against the Golden State Warriors, and he wasn't talking about Steph Curry.

But after James' late-game heroics in the clutch to beat the Warriors, his Lakers teammate Anthony Davis thinks it might have been a necessary evil, per ClutchPoints beat reporter Michael Corvo.

“I think we might need to poke LeBron in the eye a lot more to hit shots like that,” said the Lakers big man.

Sounds like a plan, AD. But good luck to whoever has to ask LeBron to do it again for the sake of the Lakers' bid for a repeat.

The King took a shot to the face during a driving attempt against Warriors' Draymond Green. Although Green made some solid contact with James' face, it was deemed a common foul. Check out the play below to see for yourself:

But despite playing with some blurry vision, James made sure to put the Lakers on his back. The 18-year veteran drilled the dagger with a minute to go, and pointed at his eye right after making it.

Here's to hoping LeBron James continues to make his long-range bombs as the Lakers head to their first-round playoff matchup against the Phoenix Suns.
