For Charles Barkley, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball is lucky they are not playing in the same era. Because if they were, poor Lonzo’s feelings were going to get hurt by Barkley’s mouth according to the Hall of Famer himself.

Ambushed for an interview by TMZ, Barkley was asked whether he’d try to mess with Ball’s head if they played against each other and said he definitely would, suggesting that Ball’s father, LaVar Ball, would be his talking point of choice.

“I would've been going at his head, no question. Would've been talking to him the whole time about his daddy.”

At this point, however, Lonzo probably has heard it all from every kind of person. He’s so used to people talking trash at him every day, especially on social media, where it’s so convenient for people to lambast him and LaVar.

The Lakers guard was given a baptism of fire in the league when Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley tried his mighty best to bully Ball, and that was just the start of what is proving to be a testy season for the former UCLA Bruin.
