Chris Paul and his Phoenix Suns demolished the Los Angeles Lakers in a Game 5 blowout, 115-85. But it didn't come without cost for the Suns All-Star.

CP3 was dealt another nasty blow to the shoulder after coming into contact with Lakers' guard Wesley Matthews.

The collision was definitely a scare to fans watching the Lakers-Suns game at home, but nobody was more petrified than Paul himself. The Suns point guard admitted feeling ‘helpless' as he feared the worst after getting hurt on the play.

Chris Paul is definitely banged up. But the fact that he can talk about it so candidly shows just how unbothered he is by potentially playing through the pain. Just being allowed onto the court is all that matters to the 16-year NBA veteran.

His Suns are going to need every ounce of CP3's abilities to close out the Lakers in Game 6. LeBron James has never lost in the first round of the playoffs. While Phoenix definitely has the upper hand if Anthony Davis is unable to suit up, it's tough to bet against a determined LeBron James in any game.
