Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Danny Green struggled with his jump shot in the team's first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers, and Lakers fans let him have it on social media.

The two-time champion actually even blocked some accounts on social media because the criticism was so vicious.

On his latest podcast, Green — whose Lakers will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder or Houston Rockets in the second round — didn't hold back on the fans who have been going after him online.

Harrison Faigen of SB Nation has the transcript:

Social media can be a very dark place at times, which is why players should probably avoid going online during the playoffs.

Against the Blazers, Danny Green averaged 8.0 points in 26.8 minutes per contest. He shot 35.7 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from beyond the arc and 33.3 percent from the free-throw line. Those are all shooting splits well under his career averages.

With that said, the Lakers are going to need Green to find his shooting stroke moving forward if the team wants to win the title. The sharpshooter missed too many wide-open 3s against the Blazers in the first round.

During the 2019-20 regular season, Green shot 41.6 percent overall and 36.7 percent from the 3-point line. The Lakers are praying the 33-year-old will be back to his usual self moving forward at Walt Disney World.
