The Los Angeles Lakers host the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday in their NBA In-Season Tournament matchup.

Lakers coach Darvin Ham reflected on the Suns' dangerous duo of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, according to Duane Rankin of AZ Central:

Said the Lakers coach, “You can't get discouraged. You've definitely got to have a multiple effort mentality, but yet still more so, a next play mentality because you can play the perfect defense and they still score.”

The NBA In-Season Tournament has been a hit so far with most NBA players – the idea of a $500,000 per player grand prize is certainly enticing. Lakers forward Rui Hachimura is ready to go, saying “We gotta go get this one tomorrow, and then go to Vegas and get the whole bag.”

The Lakers are hosting the Suns on Tuesday after finishing 4-0 in West Group A against the Suns, Jazz, and Trail Blazers. In the Lakers' tournament win over the Suns last month, Phoenix was led by Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal with Devin Booker sitting out due to a calf injury. This time, while Beal is out as a result of a back issue, Booker is available alongside KD.

Phoenix is hitting at the right time. The team is now 12-8 on the season and have won 8 of their last 10 games, including a seven-game winning streak that ended on Nov. 29. The Lakers are 12-9 on the season, but only 3-3 in their last six games.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, and Kevin Booker – what more could an NBA fan ask for on a Tuesday night?
