The inescapable cameras of TMZ recently caught up with former Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher, and the discussion focused on the guest list of Fisher's upcoming wedding with Gloria Govan.

Towards the end of the two-minute clip, the reporter appeared to have caught Fisher a bit offguard when he was asked about the possibility of Kobe Bryant joining the festivities. The 43-year-old paused for a second before admitting that he did not know if Kobe would be there for the wedding.

The reporter pressed and asked if Fisher was going to send out an invitation to Bryant, which resulted in a longer moment of hesitation. Fisher then explained that he and Gloria had not decided on it yet, and that it was possible that they opt for a more intimate family-only gathering.

This comes as a bit of a surprise considering how Fisher and Bryant supposedly have a very strong relationship. The two started their careers together with the Lakers after being picked 24th and 13th, respectively, in the 1996 NBA Draft. Fisher was by Kobe's side for all five of his championships, and the two spent a total of 13 seasons together.

We would not read too much into this, but based on Fisher's tentativeness, there may be some unheard of beef between these two Lakers legends. The fact that Fisher could not even give a straight answer on whether or not he would be inviting Bryant to one of the most important occasions of his life speaks volumes. Then again, it could just just be a matter of pre-wedding jitters.
