It seems like the rivalry between Donald Trump and LeBron James isn't over after all—even if the former has officially departed the White House. In light of the recent events, Trump released a statement calling out James for his racist rants on Twitter. James has regularly been vocal about the social injustice issues happening in the United States, which used to trigger Trump often.

According to the 45th President of the US, James should just focus on basketball instead of ranting over the social injustice happening in the country. Trump also pointed out the NBA’s current ratings and advised James to work on that instead. Trump adds that James is doing nothing for the country, which is incredibly false given how much the four-time champion has done off the court.

To give a brief, James’s campaign called “More Than A Vote” was launched to fight against voter suppression efforts across the country. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has also done so much for his hometown in Akron, Ohio where he built a school called “I Promise.” In last season’s NBA Bubble, James was one of the players who constantly stood up against the injustice that took place in the country at that time.

Despite Trump’s criticisms of LeBron James, the superstar has never been intimidated by the former president. James has been more active than ever when it comes to racial issues as he constantly voices his opinion on social media. Needless to say, if the 2016 73-9 Golden State Warriors cannot intimidate James then chances are Trump won’t even get to the superstar’s head.
