While doing some workouts on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Lakers' facility, Dwight Howard was seen wearing a pair of none other than Kobe Bryant's shoes.

As we all know, Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant didn't have the best relationship during Howard's first stint with the Lakers back in 2012-13.

However, that's not going to stop Howard from wearing some Kobe's, one of the most popular basketball shoes in the world. Howard’s sneaker deal with the Chinese brand Peak has come to an end, making him a shoe free agent.

Howard is looking to save his basketball career in Los Angeles and get the fans to like him again. Wearing a pair of Bryant's shoes is a good start for Dwight, who is on a non-guaranteed contract with the Lakers and will back up JaVale McGee at the center spot.

Lakers legend Shaquille O'Neal and Bryant had some fun at the expense of Howard on Twitter last week. Howard, however, is focused on his career and isn't paying attention to what Kobe and Shaq are saying about him, which is the right state of mind for the former superstar big man.

Last season with the Washington Wizards, Howard averaged 12.8 points and 9.2 rebounds in the nine games he played in. The future Hall of Famer underwent back surgery in November and missed the rest of the season.

Let's see if Howard can help the Lakers make a Finals run in 2019-20. It would be a great story, that's for sure.
