As a tribute to the victims of the mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks wore ‘Enough' shirts during the pre-game warmups.
Check out the photo below, as posted by the Lakers on Twitter. It features LeBron James donning the shirt.
As observed, printed at the back of the shirt are the names of the 12 victims of the shootings. Before tip-off, the crew over at Staples Center read the names of each of the victim and flashed their names on the screen.

This is just among the many ways that the NBA and its players have used their voice and influence to send out a message, and hopefully, influence government policy.
This is the second time that NBA teams wore the tribute shirts. Just the other night, the Milwaukee Bucks and the L.A. Clippers also put on ‘Enough' shirts during the pre-game warmups.
Several teams and players, especially LeBron James, have been outspoken in terms of the problems that have hounded the US over the past few years. These include police brutality, gun violence and control, racial discrimination, and Donald Trump's presidency. James himself has worn various shoe and shirt designs in protest.
