The hype for LeBron James' epic Triple Logoman has definitely gone insane. Thanks to Drake's mind-bending spree of buying countless cases of Panini Flawless in the past month or so, the demand for this product has gone beyond the hobby and breached mainstream media. That's why when “news” broke out that the epic card of the Los Angeles Lakers' star has been pulled, a lot of people on social media came together to celebrate this momentous occasion, or so they thought.

In an image shared by Cardporn on Twitter recently, an image of Panini Flawless' Triple Logoman One of One patch featuring the Lakers' All-Star was seen being pulled. The post indicated that the ever-elusive card was obtained with Drake. The post ended with the caption saying “we can all go back to our regular programming. Finally.”

Apparently, the insane “luck” doesn't end there. In a subsequent post, Cardporn shared an image of another elusive card being pulled from Panini's Flawless set – the LaMelo Ball One of One Logoman rookie patch auto. And just like the LeBron James card shown earlier, the post also mentioned Drake was present when this pull was revealed.

LeBron James, Lakers

The thing is, this was an April Fool's Day prank pulled by the popular card page, and not the actual LeBron James banger everyone was waiting for. As expected, these two posts went viral as a number of people expressed both surprise and disbelief over the “insane” pull.

A few hours after these two images, Cardporn shared that the revelation of both LeBron James and LaMelo Ball Logoman cards was a prank. Furthermore, it also served as a confirmation that the said cards are still in the wild and are not discovered yet.

With this update, there's a pretty good chance Drake and the other high-rollers in the hobby will continue searching for the famed patch card featuring the Lakers' All-Star. That, and the One of One Logoman of Ball as well. If either one gets pulled anytime soon, expect more fireworks to go off in the hobby. But for today, collectors should be wary of any “big” news as anything April Fool's' is still up in the air.
