Having been traded twice and now playing for his third team in eight months, Isaiah Thomas knows that this summer's free agency is a very important one for his career. Despite his stock taking a huge hit with his performances not being at the same level as what he's had the past two seasons, he still remains positive about what the future holds for him.

The 5-foot-9 point guard believes that his resume speaks for himself and that he has done enough for teams to understand what he can bring to the table. He added, via Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, that it's like the draft once again as he was the last selection in 2011 yet turned out to be a two-time All-Star before sharing that he knows he just needs one team to believe and want him.

Now with the Los Angeles Lakers, Thomas is making the most of his opportunity to play for a team with a very young core. He is one of their players with the most playing experience in the league, and he is seen as a leader for them on and off the court. It's also his chance to prove that he can be valuable to a team in different ways and not just by producing solid numbers during games, which could help him secure a lucrative long-term deal this coming summer.

Where Thomas will land next is still anyone's guess at this point — including his. However, if there's one thing certain, if he can end a season with a string of impressive performances and help the Lakers win more games, it will be a huge boost to his stock heading into the offseason. It will definitely help him to generate a lot of interest from teams around the league, listen to their pitches, and ultimately decide which among them can offer him what's best for him and his family.
