The Spanish Basketball League is auctioning sneakers autographed by Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

All the money will go to coronavirus relief:

Kobe Bryant was named an NBA Hall of Famer this past weekend. The Lakers icon tragically passed away in a helicopter crash in January. The entire basketball world is still mourning his passing, but this act of generosity by the Spanish Basketball League will hopefully help those who are in need.

As everyone knows, Bryant is the greatest player in Lakers franchise history. Kobe won five rings with the Purple and Gold. He was also a two-time Finals MVP and regular-season MVP winner.

The Lakers retired Bryant's No. 8 and No. 24 jerseys last season. The Black Mamba finished his legendary career with averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Kobe made the All-Star team 18 times. He's universally recognized as the second greatest shooting guard in NBA history behind only Micahel Jordan.

Sports were forced to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. If he was still with us, you can bet that Bryant would have done all he could to help people dealing with the crisis.

Kobe's Lakers had the top record in the Western Conference before the 2019-20 season was suspended. This year's squad is led by superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, both of whom who were very close with Kobe.
