Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma is starting the Rose Bowl trash-talk early with former teammate and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

Kuzma, a product of the Utah Utes men's basketball, showed his full support to his alma mater as their football team takes on the Ohio State Buckeyes in their first Rose Bowl appearance. And what better way to display his school pride than talking trash to one of their opponents' biggest supporters in LeBron?

LeBron has remained close to his home state programs–including the Buckeyes' basketball and football teams–and so when the Utes took an early 7-0 lead in the Rose Bowl, Kuzma just couldn't help but troll the Lakers leader.

The Utes opened the scoring early with team captain Britain Covey converting off a pass from quarterback Cameron Rising. The Buckeyes' defense left him wide open to make a run after the reception, sending the thousands of Utah fans in attendance into frenzy.

At the time of writing, LeBron James hasn't responded yet to Kyle Kuzma's trash-talking. However, after the Utes doubled their lead (14-0) in the first quarter, it is safe to expect that the Wizards star will continue to rub it onto his former Lakers teammate.

Perhaps LeBron has it coming after he trolled Draymond Green last November after the Buckeyes blew out the Michigan State Spartans 56-7? What comes around goes around it seems.
