The Los Angeles Lakers had a very busy offseason, bringing in numerous players to strengthen their roster as they eye another title run in 2022. However, there has been no shortage of critics that think the Lakers are far too old. Russell Westbrook is 32. Carmelo Anthony is 37. So is LeBron James.

Well, it appears that James and Anthony Davis haven't taken any of these comments seriously. In fact, the two stars find it all quite amusing. Via Michael Corvo of ClutchPoints:

The Lakers have a fire in their belly. The hate is clearly fueling them. All jokes aside, LA does have tons of experience surrounding Bron and AD. Westbrook is a walking triple-double who can do it all offensively, although his shot selection is poor at times. Carmelo is still capable of making it rain from downtown and should be a nice piece off the bench.

Davis is also expected to play center this season for the Lakers, which is a position where he thrives most. Then, you have two solid veterans in Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan backing him up. LA has a much different look but ultimately it will come down to health. LeBron and AD's injuries in 2020/21 certainly played a massive part in their first-round exit.

As far as the Lakers are concerned, the doubters can keep doubting. This team is ready to get it done and bring another championship back to Los Angeles.
