The NCAA suspended Ohio State football star Chase Young, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James isn't happy about it.
Per CBS Sports, Young will not play on Saturday against Maryland while the school looks into what it is calling “a possible NCAA issue.” An official statement from the program did not elaborate on the length of Young's absence or many specifics relating to the NCAA issue, only that it occurred “in 2018.”
According to Young himself, the issue stems from a loan that he took from a family friend. James, who is a big fan of Ohio State, isn't pleased about the news:

Starting in 2023, college athletes in California will be able to profit off their name and likeness after California governor Gavin Newsom signed CA-SB206 into state law. He signed the law on LeBron's HBO Show called “The Shop.”

The Lakers star is doing everything he can to look out for college athletes. James knows had he gone to college, whatever institution he went to would have made a ton of money off him.
LeBron and the Lakers are 7-1 on the season. LA has won seven games in a row after losing to the Los Angeles Clippers on opening night.
