The NFL season is now in full swing, and even Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is hopping on the football hype train. What has caught the eye of LeBron is none other than Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow, who himself has had an amazing start to his debut campaign.

According to LeBron, he sees a lot of potential in the 23-year-old:

Burrow has been nothing short of astounding in his first two games for the Bengals, breaking all sorts of records along the way. Cincinnati has lost both games, however, but there's no denying that this is no fault of Burrow. The former LSU standout has proven thus far why he absolutely deserves the honor of being the first overall pick in the recent draft.

LeBron James knows a thing or two about being special and having the potential for greatness, so this is some very high praise coming from him. The future is bright for Burrow, and LeBron agrees.

While James may be following the goings-on in the NFL, we're all but certain that he has kept a laser focus on the task at hand. The Lakers are one step away from reaching the NBA Finals, and the recent elimination of two other title favorites in the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers has somewhat cleared the way for the Purple & Gold.

A title is anything but guaranteed for L.A. at this point, however. They have a daunting challenge ahead, as they battle a resilient Denver Nuggets side in the Western Conference Finals. Game 1 of what should be a very intriguing series tips off on Friday.
