Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has heard it all before, especially the taunts. But it seems his favorite shade on him is “Washed King.” So much so that it has become an inside joke for him and his peers.

After being named to the All-NBA Second Team on Tuesday, LeBron was congratulated by Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green on his Instagram Story, punctuating it with a sarcastic caption of “WASHED” plus a crown emoji. To this, LBJ appropriately responded with “SUPER WASHED!” before expressing his gratitude to Green.

LeBron and Green have truly built a rosy relationship in recent years. After going at it in heated encounters in the NBA Finals, the two All-Star forwards have become really chummy. Draymond joining Klutch Sports surely helped as he and LeBron now share the same agent in Rich Paul.

The King extended his NBA record with his 17th selection to the All-NBA Team. It was his third nod to the All-NBA Second Team and was actually on track for his fifth MVP and easily an All-NBA First Team spot before a high ankle sprain derailed his campaign.

LeBron finished the season with impressive averages of 25.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Definitely not washed-up numbers. Although at 36 years old and missing extended time for the second straight season, as crazy as it sounds, it seems LBJ is gradually breaking down.

But still, it would be foolish to think he's already washed up. As Draymond Green could definitely attest, counting out LeBron James isn't a very sound decision.
