When Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James met Michael Jordan for the first time, he couldn't believe His Airness was real.

The Lakers star also had a four-word NSFW reaction:

As he was to so many, Michael Jordan was LeBron James' idol growing up. The King was very emotional last season when he passed Jordan on the NBA's all-time scoring list.

LeBron will be the Jordan for the next generation of hoopers who come into the NBA. The four-time MVP and three-time champion is one of the best players in NBA history. He has surely inspired plenty of people around the world with his stellar play on the basketball court.

James and the Lakers had the top record in the Western Conference standings before the 2019-20 season was suspended due to COVID-19. LeBron was in the running for the MVP award as well, although his main focus was on winning championship No. 4 for Kobe and Gigi Bryant — who tragically passed away in a helicopter crash in January.

Jordan's six championship rings and six Finals MVPs with the Chicago Bulls are hard accomplishments to touch. However, LeBron is still striving for greatness despite being an all-time great. He is chasing Jordan's ghost and won't stop until he gets there.

The Lakers will be title contenders as long as LeBron and Anthony Davis are leading the charge. While Davis becomes an unrestricted free agent whenever the 2020 offseason period begins, the All-Star big man is expected to sign a long-term deal with the Lakers.
