One particular player caught the eye of the three-time NBA champ, with LeBron sending a shoutout to Bears linebacker Khalil Mack:

Mack was on point on Monday, with the 28-year-old helping Chicago to a one-sided 31-15 victory against Washington. James was one of the many who took notice of Mack's impressive performance (two sacks, two forced fumbles), and the Lakers talisman was sure to make his feelings known via Twitter.

As noted in the tweet, LeBron surely noticed Mack doing “The Silencer” celebration, which used to be a James staple after making big shots:

Soon enough, it will be LeBron's turn to get back into action, with the NBA season drawing nearer. All eyes will be on James and his new-look Lakers side, who are definitely looking to bounce back from a forgettable 2018-19 campaign.

James will be entering the new season with a revamped squad, and his new partnership with former New Orleans Pelicans cornerstone superstar Anthony Davis is definitely something to look forward to. The development of incoming third-year man Kyle Kuzma is likewise very intriguing, as many expect him to take the leap this coming season.

Despite going to battle with a very formidable side, however, the Lakers will still be faced with some tough competition. One need not search too far, with their crosstown rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers, looking to provide one of the biggest tests for LeBron and company. The Lakers may have the LeBron-Davis pairing, but the Kawhi Leonard-Paul George dynamic duo of the Clippers will definitely have a thing or two to say about who will rule LA this season.
