Despite losing for the second straight game, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James remains thankful for the milestone he has just accomplished.

In their 110-105 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, LeBron managed to surpass Andre Miller and move to no.10 on the NBA's all-time assists list. In the process, he also became the only player in league history to be in the top 10 of points and assists.

Sure enough, the defeat was a bummer and ruined what could have been a perfect night for the Lakers star. However, LeBron sees it as a positive thing amid the chaos and took it to Instagram to share his thoughts about his latest achievement.

LeBron James is undoubtedly in a league of his own, and this remarkable feat just goes to show why he has been the best player on the planet for the past decade or so.

Nonetheless, his “appreciation” post might come at a wrong time. After all, he just criticized his teammates for allowing “distractions” to affect the way they play. Lakers fans are certainly hoping that LeBron is the most focused of all, so talking about individual accolades might not sit well for some.

The Lakers are currently out of the playoff picture, sitting on 11th place and three games behind for the eighth and final postseason spot. They have the same record as the Minnesota Timberwolves, while the ninth-seeded Sacramento Kings are two games ahead of them in the standings.
