Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James may be in the midst of a frustrating 2018-19 NBA season. However, he is still managing to solidify his place in history.

James is regarded as one of the most well-rounded players of all time, and he further backed up that notion by becoming the only player in NBA history to be in top 10 of the all-time points and assists lists.

LeBron James already holds the fifth spot for all-time scoring leaders. Now, he was able to surpass point guard Andre Miller for the 10th spot on the all-time assists list. He now has Hall of Famer Gary Payton along with his good friend and Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul in his sights.

This is certainly an impressive feat and one that personifies James as a player. Not only is he a capable scorer, but he is also a proficient playmaker that elevates the play of those around him. The fact that he has now cracked the top 10 in both categories is a testament to his status as one of the all-time greats.

Unfortunately, James will have to wait until after the season to relish another one of his career milestones. For now, he is focused on finding a way to lead the Lakers to the playoffs and keep his impressive postseason run going.

Los Angeles is currently two spots out of the Western Conference playoff picture. There is no question he will have his work cut out with this young team still trying to find its rhythm down the final stretch of the season.
