Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James decided to put on a hat with a very strong message during his team's post-game press conference on Tuesday. The 35-year-old took a “Make America Great Again” hat and revised the text to “Make America arrest the cops that killed Breonna Taylor.”

When asked about his message, LeBron reiterated his intention to keep talking about these social injustices in any and all opportunities presented to him:

The playoffs may be in full swing, but it is clear that for LeBron, he has kept his eyes on the bigger issues at hand.

As for his basketball, James had a tremendous outing against the Blazers, finishing with a record-setting triple-double 23-point, 17-rebound, and 16-assist triple-double to lead his side. Unfortunately, even LeBron's excellent performance was not enough to overcome a surging Blazers side.

Seeding games MVP Damian Lillard carried on with his hot streak, logging 34 points on 9-of-21 shooting, five rebounds, five assists, and a block. He also sank a couple of big three's down the stretch, which killed off any hope for the Lakers to come back in this one. Lillard and company carried their momentum from the seeding games, and despite what most folks believed, fatigue did not seem to play a factor in the opener.

This was an undeniably disappointing loss for the heavily-favored Lakers, as they now find themselves in a 1-0 hole against the eighth-seeded Blazers. Game 2 is scheduled for Thursday, and at this point, it seems that the Lakers must win that game, or risk ending their season in the most catastrophic way possible.
