Lonzo Ball proved last season that he belongs in the NBA, and that he has a potential be very effective and productive while on the court for the Los Angeles Lakers.

If there was one knock on him, though, it was his physique. He looked quite thin throughout the season, and sometimes it seemed as though he could not get to spots on the floor without getting bumped, causing him to lose his positioning.

During exit interviews, Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson said this summer would be the most important of Ball's life, and challenged his point guard to get stronger.

Well, it looks as though Lonzo Ball delivered on that. In an Instagram photo he posted, Ball looked much more muscular that he did the entire season.

Whatever workout regiment Ball has incorporated into his routine is obviously working. He now has more what people like to call an “NBA body,” which will definitely be key for him second season in the league.

Ball is arguably the most important player for the Lakers moving forward. He is deemed the point guard of their future, and with that comes a lot of pressure to perform well, and to develop quickly. Ball has always seemed like a player that just wants to get better all the time, regardless of some of the distractions that come with playing in Los Angeles.

Ball committing to an offseason focused on getting bigger and stronger is a great sign for the Lakers, and tells the franchise that he is serious about improving in whatever way he can in order to make an impact.
