The NBA Draft is just around the corner. LiAngelo Ball, brother of Los Angeles Lakers rising star Lonzo, believes that his sibling will be picked — contrary to what experts say.

As reported by Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, Lonzo commented on his brother's performance in his pre-draft workout with the Lakers. He strongly believed that LiAngelo will get drafted, noting that it would be great if they'll play together:

“I thought he did pretty well. I have high hopes for him. I think he is definitely going to get drafted. I definitely would love to play with him, love to have him [with the Lakers].”

Analysts believe that LiAngelo has a very slim chance of getting drafted. Some say that he won't be picked at all. But from Lonzo's words, who knows what's going on behind the scenes. Maybe he's whispering a few good things about his brother to management? Who knows?

Just like his brother, LiAngelo was pretty confident that his workout with the Lakers turned out good. After the workout, he commented on his performance, per Jill Painter Lopez of The Associated Press:

“I feel like it went good,” the younger Ball said. “It's always fun being in here doing things I want to get better at. It was a good workout.

“It was good that (Lonzo) was here, but if he wasn't here I would've been doing the same thing,” LiAngelo Ball said. “I don't really pay attention to who's here and who's not. I just do what I do.”

“I showed I can knock down shots and get some wins within the 2-on-2 and 3-on-3s,” LiAngelo said. “I showed I can play together.”
