It appears that Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball is the latest NBA player to get hooked on the needle. After his first substantial tattoo a couple of months ago, Ball has taken his skin art to another level by getting his entire right forearm inked.

Here's a look at Ball's original tattoo in May:

As it turns out, this was just a preview of things to come. This is how Ball's arm looks like right now:

The initial “Born 2 Ball” tattoo is now surrounded by a bunch of clouds, some stars, and a couple of doves. The Big Baller Brand is also a prominent part of the new design.

The tattoo has a religious theme, with a set of praying hands at the very top. An angel serves as the centerpiece of the artwork, and the clouds in the background seem to imply that this is an image of heaven.

Ball also had an “RIP” inscribed, but we couldn't quite make out the name. Whoever this was pertaining to would have surely had a significant role in Ball's life for the 20-year-old to get his/her memory permanently inked on his body.

For Lakers fans, their only hope is that the progression of Ball's body art is directly proportional to the development of his game. After a solid rookie campaign, the Lakers are hoping for a breakthrough year from the incoming sophomore.

With the first-year jitters already out of the way, along with the addition of arguably the best player of his generation in LeBron James to the Lakers, Ball is in an excellent position to take his game to the next level.
