With all that has been going on in the NBA these days, it's as if we've somehow forgotten about the front office overhaul the Los Angeles Lakers are currently undergoing.
Well, former Lakers president for basketball operations Magic Johnson made sure that we all start talking about him and L.A. again by recently sending out a very intriguing tweet.

Mission accomplished for Magic here, as his cryptic statement has definitely piqued our collective interest.
It would be safe to assume that this tweet pertains to his recent exit from the Lakers organization. When Johnson announced his decision to resign from his position as team president, a lot of questions were left unanswered.
The timing of the announcement — just hours prior to the team's final game of the season — was suspect. Moreover, the manner by which it came about — via an announcement to the media prior to officially tendering his resignation to his employer, team owner Jeanie Buss — made it clear that there was a lot going on behind the scenes that we knew very little about.
Johnson's recent statement here appears to confirm what many believe to be true — that he did not part with the organization in the best of terms. By not explaining his decision, Magic Johnson was put in a bit of a bad light, but as he seems to insinuate here, the truth behind all this — if and when it comes out — should effectively clear his name.
