If there's anyone who could come out of nowhere to drop a hot take from the depths of the cosmos, it's Metta World Peace. The former NBA forward has always stayed loyal to the Los Angeles Lakers, but maybe this time around, his passion got a little bit overboard.

Despite the Lakers' anemic showing so far, World Peace professed on Twitter his full support for the team, which he helped win an NBA title in 2010. In fact, he predicted that the Lakers will win it all this season.

Pump the brakes!

To be fair, the Player Formerly Known as Ron Artest, didn't specify what that “it” was. Maybe he has the Lakers winning the super lottery or the neighborhood BINGO game or the play-in tournament. The possibilities are endless!

To be kind about it, the Lakers have been inconsistent. They have been in a revolving door of wins and losses, with an even 11-11 (Illuminati!) record after a tight (and blood-less) win over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night. The Purple & Gold erected a huge lead, only to scramble once again in the fourth quarter.

With the way things are going for LeBron James and company, it's quite possible that World Peace might need to have his crystal ball checked.

The Lakers can exact payback against the Sacramento Kings when they battle again on Tuesday.
