LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will wear their Black Mamba Jerseys in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, as the team is eager to win the championship in the Kobe Bryant-inspired jerseys.
During his media session on Thursday, James talked about the importance of the Bryant jerseys and why the Lakers are wearing them in Game 5 (via NBA TV).

The Lakers are undefeated in the Black Mamba jerseys. The team has made it a point to never lose in the slick uniforms since Kobe Bryant is no longer with us.

However, Bryant's spirit and legacy are certainly with LeBron James and the Lakers. When Anthony Davis hit the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Denver Nuggets in the Mamba jerseys, the Chicago native yelled “Kobe.”
The Lakers have two motivations to win the title in Game 5. One is obviously capturing the championship and being recognized as the best team in the NBA, but the other is that the club can finally leave the Walt Disney World bubble and get back to their normal lives, or as normal as it can be since we are still living in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Against the Heat in the Finals, James is averaging 27.8 points, 11.0 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game while shooting 54.1 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 71.9 percent from the free throw line.
