The Los Angeles Lakers looked every bit like the championship contender that they appeared to be on paper against the Boston Celtics. Russell Westbrook playing like his dominant self was a big reason why.

Westbrook had 24 points and 11 assists on the evening, with an efficient 9-for-16 shooting clip. But just as the numbers don't tell the whole story when Russ piles on the counting stats, the on-court fit he had with co-stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis was on full display in this one.

The Lakers guard was asked about if the game was the “blueprint” for the Lakers' trio to find success on the court together. To Russell Westbrook, getting the W gives you all you need to know about where their chemistry was at against the Celtics.

Via ClutchPonts' Lakers reporter Michael Corvo:

“Listen I mean the game will always tell you what to do. We have a unique team…and we have guys that can take over a game at any point…the game will always tell you what to do….I don’t know the blueprint. All I know is that we won, so if that’s the blueprint, then hell yeah, winning is the blueprint.”

The Lakers were at their best on Tuesday night. Russell Westbrook finding his groove alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis is a clear reason why.
