The Los Angeles Lakers flexed their muscles on Tuesday night as they ran away with a victory against their rival Boston Celtics. LeBron James was more than happy with their win on the evening.

LeBron was stern yet satisfied in his message on the Lakers' performance, calling it their best wire-to-wire performance thus far.

“There are some things we can clean up, but tonight was one of the best 48-minute game we've had so far,” said the Lakers star. “If we defend at a high level that we know we're capable of like we did tonight, then we give ourselves a good chance to win every night.”

The Lakers were able to remove the taste of their bitter loss against the same Celtics side just a few weeks ago, when they were blown out, 130-108, despite a healthy Big 3.

LeBron James and Co. led by as many as 20 points in this one thanks to a pivotal third-quarter stretch when Russell Westbrook had the crowd rocking with a handful of highlight plays.

Most encouraging was the tremendous play of LA's trio of stars. LeBron James carried the scoring load with 30 points on an efficient 12-for-19 shooting clip. Anthony Davis did the dirty work with 17 points and 16 rebounds to go along with two blocks and two steals. Russell Westbrook helped orchestrate the offense with 24 points and 11 assists.

The Lakers were firing on all cylinders in this one. If they can channel that energy every night, they'll be tough to stop.
