Los Angeles Lakers icon Shaquille O'Neal is a legend both on and off the court. The four-time league MVP has been known to dish out huge assists off the court and shoulder the bill off of random people's purchases in an attempt to spread some love and good vibes all around.

From engagement rings to laptops, The Diesel has made a name for himself as of late of being quite the superhero off the court and surprise random folks with a generous handout. Shaq shared that he goes into stores to look for people to help out and recently saw a mom who couldn't afford school laptops for her kids.

“I got you,” Shaq told the mom as he paid for the laptops worth around $1,500 (via SportsCenter).

Obviously, a successful personality like Shaq has more than a few hundred bucks to spare so for him, shouldering a small bill like that is the least he can do. More importantly, it's his mindset and the message he wants to send across that have been quite inspiring amid all these charitable gestures.

“My motto lately is it could be worse, and that could be you,” O'Neal added. “$1,500 ain't nothing to me but [a] mom trying to help her babies go to school? I'm standing right there, do it.”

The Lakers legend has been one of the best examples of someone who continues to win after an incredible NBA career. The former lottery pick has made the most out of his success and platform to prove to everyone that kindness always wins.
