As the heartbreaking loss of Kobe Bryant continues to reverberate around the NBA world – and the world at large – LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers took in his son Bronny James’s high school game with Sierra Canyon. Players for both sides began the game wearing Bryant shirts, and they both took 24-second violations to start the contest to honor the fallen legend:

Kobe Bryant’s passing sent shockwaves through the NBA world, and basketball fans around the world began to send out their condolences to Bryant’s teammates and family, and much of the basketball-loving public has been in mourning ever since the news broke on Sunday morning.

It seems impossible that such a larger-than-life figure as Kobe could be gone, but his presence will never be forgotten, and these tributes that many teams are putting forth in-game are a beautiful way to honor his memory.
