LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to a much-needed win over the Golden State Warriors with a 56-point performance. His historic night powered a 124-116 win to snap a four-game losing streak.

Even with James' phenomenal performance, the Lakers have tons of work to do. They are seven games below .500 with 19 games left. A playoff run doesn't seem to be in the cards for LA and even getting out of the play-in tournament may be too much for them.

Saturday Night Live got in on the fun of roasting the Lakers. Colin Jost dissed them for their age and poor leadership on SNL's Weekend Update segment.

The Lakers have been an epic mess this season. Injuries, on-court struggles, a lack of chemistry and a ton of miserable losses have defined this season for the purple and gold. Jost's roast is spot on.

Anthony Davis only playing half of the season to this point is a reason for the Lakers' problems. But they would still have a lot to figure out. The trade for Russell Westbrook ensured a fracture between the Lakers and James (who pushed heavily for the move) and sacrificed a lot of flexibility in exchange for a player that is on the verge of being benched.

Los Angeles seems to be at a crossroads as their disappointing season winds down. A lot of change to the franchise might be in order.
