Troy Daniels believes the Los Angeles Lakers are closely aligned with the Dallas Cowboys.

When the Los Angeles Clippers made the unprecedented move to trade for Paul George and sign NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard, it suddenly seemed as though the Clippers had a legitimate argument as the new team to watch in Hollywood. However, Daniels doesn't think that's the case and even argued that the Lakers remain the biggest team not only in LA but also in the United States.

In an interview with Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype, Daniels explained his belief that the Lakers are in fact “America's Team.”

“I call them “America’s Team” because everyone knows about the Los Angeles Lakers and everyone knows about Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal and LeBron James. When you come play for this organization, you got to come correct. That’s what I’m going to do.”

Obviously, the Clippers were not the only L.A. team to make major additions to their roster. The Lakers made the big move for Anthony Davis while also signing the likes of DeMarcus Cousins, Danny Green, Jared Dudley and Daniels.

In his six years in the NBA, Daniels has garnered a reputation as a sniper. He is shooting exactly 40 percent from beyond the arc in his career, and he should provide LeBron James with another vital perimeter threat that figures to be crucial to the success of the Lakers next season.
